The award-winning Langton Arms Butchery and locally renowned Pamphill Dairy have joined forces in putting their farming and butchery expertise together in one place.
Pamphill Butchery is now stocking meat solely from The Langton Arms Butchery. Their Tarrant Beef comes from the neighbouring Rawstar herds (that belong to The Langton Arms & the Cossins Family), supplying their mince, steak and beef. They stock the wonderful, homemade Langton Arms range of sausages, Piddle Chicken, Sturminster pork and lamb and also veal from Harry Street Meats (another award winner). All these highly regarded meats come from only a few miles away.
Pamphill Butchery is now open Tuesday to Saturday from 8am to 5pm and is surrounded by many other thriving independent businesses all sharing one yard space. These include a framers, hairdressers, upholsterers, horse & dog feed supplier, antiques shop, home décor boutique, the fantastic Pamphill Parlour Café and their own well-stocked Pamphill Farm Shop.
Pamphill Dairy, based just outside Wimborne, is the brainchild of Lulu and Billy Richards who have been farmers in the area for many generations and are heading for their 150-year anniversary on Childridge Farm located on the famous Kingston Lacy Estate.
The Richards are supported in this new partnership by Barbara Cossins, Winner of the Taste of Dorset’s Food Business of the Year 2017. The families are long-term friends and neighbours. Having set up The Langton Arms Butchery 5 years ago, Lulu and Billy can benefit from all her experience in running another local retail butchery.
